Hello,

I'm a newbie to Mexican stamps. For that matter, I'm a newbie to this forum. Looking for info on Mexican stamps. Probably purists will dislike Minkus albums, but I find them handy and perfect for my needs. My Mexico album only goes up to 1984, so I'm always searching for supplements, if anyone has any recommendations.

I sold a Mexico collection a couple years back but still find myself stealing glances at Mexico collecting. I still have a near 40 year accumulation of Mexicana magazines that sort of pull at me. In order to do it justice, I felt I needed to concentrate on Mexico as a collecting area, something not usually easy for me to do.

I have a Minkus Mexico album that goes up to 1984, but is empty, with no plans for it. If you have damaged pages in yours, could mail you replacements.

Rick02141:

You may also want to check out the MexiMail Forum at:

http://meximail.org/index.php

It functions very much like this forum, but is focused on Mexico philately.

As a Guest, you can read all the posts, but to participate, you have to request an account. There is a good bit of useful information there in existing posts, and for 19th century stamps, there are knowledgeable experts there who can help with identification of stamps and postmarks.

It is operated by a ex-President of MEPSI, but is independent from MEPSI for administrative reasons.
