That is quite a description. I just hope the upper left part of the stamp tasted good for whoever ate it. |

Can we say bitter, grumpy old man with no people skills (or philatelic skills)? |

He's being realistic. Only "d***head amateur collectors" would consider bidding on this. ebay should fine him for bunny-hunting out of season. |

Thanks. It was fun reading his nasty description/terms and viewing his other "treasures". |

Well, it is clear that he has gone to the dark side - look at the image on his feedback page...

Crusty old fart selling his stamp collection? With 5500+ feedback? (He has been selling for a while... they're called dealers.) Not even a real picture of the seller? Seems like one cannot buy from real people anymore.
Am sorry I read this thread. I wouldn't even take it for free, would be a loss even paying postage and then I'd have to look at it every time I opened the album. |

Since he only has one negative feedback I know I can trust him and will bid on this fine specimen with the one of a kind hand cancel. |

Makes you wonder what he paid for it or did he resurrect it from some dumpster? |

If he gets someone to buy at this price and if his 'near complete' collection contains mostly such stamps of high caliber and condition like this one, his estate would be worth a real fortune. Too bad my stamp budget is very limited these days. |

Looks like somebody spent a lifetime buying from the space filler red box... He also has a 90 cent cat value RF16 for $3 + $3 shipping. You know he is slapping 50 cents of scrap postage on a #6 envelope and tossing it into the mail... Drives me crazy. $6 for a 90 cent stamp |

Needless to say a lot of really important stamps and covers of all types have been removed from the trash by someone with an eye. Even rare items with faults are acceptable, because of the postal history value. They say beauity is in the eye of the beholder. Needless to say- The person who buys this might not have any "vision"; of what a reasonable copy of a stamp looks like.
