This is a recent ebay acquisition. The seller's picture made me curious as to how the stamps were cancelled, because they appeared unmarked. The stamps are definitely not cancelled or marked in any way. I've never seen a first day cover like this before. Perhaps the worker was having a rough morning, or maybe he/she was a little bored.

It does look a bit odd, coz Singapore fdc will usually have the stamps cancelled. Below is an example of an actual cover. However, I don't know if the cancellation on the cover is worth much.

Pennyblackie, I am sure you are correct about the FD cancellation values generally and with Singapore. As a collector, I always want the "postal use" cancel rather than the FD cancel. Most collectors seem to concur with this, I believe.
