Hello
Does the Ben Franklin Single Post mark VS Pair & Does New York CR stand for Central Railroad ?

Also I'm sure they are mixed up in the slots and is that why the pair is taller. And these are a bit more trouble sum because some are just solid blocks of 10 or 15 stamps from the gum.

The only 1 that looks unused has a crease thru the mid section but still ok I guess

Thanks Again Austin

Austin,
To me, the precancel (single line cross) is the most interesting in the group. I believe that this stamp was cancelled before being place on an envelope but perhaps some of the cancel folks will speak to this.

Condition is important to most collectors although cancel collectors will sometimes be willing to overlook a stamp's condition to score a cancel they desire.

Austin, What are you asking "Does the Ben Franklin Single Post mark VS Pair"?
The purple cancel is interesting.

Austin, I think all of them are Scott 206 (re-engraved upper portion) except the 2nd on the bottom row Scott 156 (secret mark, I think) and the 3rd on the bottom row Scott 145.
