Since they show the 1c 1851 stamp, unused, I should comment on it as well.
For it, they just say, and I'm paraphrasing:
"Benjamin Franklin, 1851 - Only two Mint and around 100 used are known to still exist."
They do not qualify what variety they are talking about. This is where it gets interesting.
One would think that they mean Scott #5 7R1E, which has about 3 known unused copies and about 100 used. So that mostly agrees.
Here is the problem: the stamp that they used for the illustration is a Scott #5A, Position 9R1E. It is also a rare stamp unused, but does not agree with their text.
What a mess. Ignorance on the reader's part here is bliss.
