And here's a RPPC from downtown Honolulu. I wonder if anyone can tell from the car models whether this predated WWII.

Looks like the one on the far left is a 1938 Dodge and the white one to the right of it is a 1940 or 1941 Dodge. Can't tell what the one on the far right is. Nothing else looks any later than 1939. So, the picture looks to be just prior to the US joining WWII.
