They have me stumped. Not seen anything like them in 15 years. The TAKAHASHI possibly has Chinese text Left Hand Side ? Looks like a product seal.

TAKAHASHI JAPAN stamp - Left Hand Side text is a Traditional Chinese #20013;#22283;#20940;#31295;#26666;#24335;#26371; (can't find last character) It means China Lingji Co., Ltd. |

Hi all, The series of 4 stamps seems to be a receipt certificate of reserved deposit from a bank, and the single red stamp with "Takahashi Japan" seems to be a product certificate seal of straw strand manufacturer's union located in Takahashi, Okayama prefecture. Unfortunately I couldn't manage to find any information on Bansho Bank. Jou-bou is a county of Okayama prefecture which existed from Meiji to early Showa era. The center of Jou-bou county was Takashi village (currently Takahashi city), thus the inscription "Takahashi" in the stamp is the location of the union, and not the name of the company. The "Chu-goku" here means Chugoku region of Japan, and not China. I believe this has lead us to big confusion... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_...ons_of_JapanHope this helps. -Hironobu |

If this is correct, "passed" would suggest a product verification label. |
