I ran into this at ebay:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Worldwide-...123317853753

1) Is it worth the price?
2) If it is - some of the heavy collectors here might find it worthwhile.
Me - I'm heavy only by weight, and this price tag is way out of my reach.

1. Be VERY wary of that seller.

2. If past practice is any indicator, they likely will be willing to sell for 50%-60% of that Buy It Now price.

I always use the images posted as a guide. I did not look at every one, but what I saw was more modern material that is typically not very valuable. I make the assumption that the seller shows their best stuff first, and if that is true here you can do better looking at other options.

I would not touch that seller with a 10 meter pole.

The math shows he's asking for $.13 per stamp. Way off the mark.

YES ---It is overprice ........I have TWO collections BIGGER than that at a cheaper price for sale right NOW .

Now lets read that advertisement the way FLOORTRADER would read it . First it is overpriced I will be happy to make you a identical collection at $ .13 per stamp mounted ,I will be making money at that rate .

Second nowhere in the ad does it say that the collection is INTACT , maybe pages have been removed or stamps pulled out .
Third it doesn't have the important words ---ALL DIFFERENT STAMPS ,big big difference in what your buying .

A big factor that is missing is the statement is about how many complete sets are included and the question I would put to the seller is how many stamps catalog over $10.00 each ,the complete sets and higher price stamps is what determines the price all the rest just comes along for the ride .

So my ad would read ---INTACT ,COMPLETE PAGES ,ALL DIFFERENT ,THOUSANDS OF COMPLETE SETS ,Many hundred dollar stamps ,some with cert's , Lots of $10.00 and above stamps ======= that is a collection you want to look at ,not a run of the mill mounted 2 cent stamps .
