Two question on this Philippine cover; any help appreciated:
1) The date stamps tying the 1945 Scott 485/492 issues to this cover each state 'First Day Cover' with a date of Apr. 16th, but the most recent printing of the US Specialized that I have on hand (2010) states the first day to be Jan. 19th. Is the catalogue incorrect or are the markings incorrect or bogus?
2) Anyone know what the handstamped shield cachet with 'C.C.D. - 103' indicates?
