Can someone tell me what this watermark is?

This is a wet scan. I see crowns but the other aspects do not seem match anything.

Looks like a match for Watermark #33, but upside down.

I was thinking it looked like one of the script CA watermarks either 4 or more likely 4a. What is the stamp? Might go a long way in making a determination.


Never mind I think I agree that it is 33 upside down

Sorry, I was in a hurry, It is a Great Britain postage due. I was thinking script CA but that was not on those stamps unless I misread Scott's.

I rotated 180 and I should have scanned it larger.

Looks like the Simple Cypher SG100, introduced in 1912 and in use until 1924. Which stamp is it on?

Image added in an edit, because a picture speaks 1000 words! Note the image is as viewed from the front.

This is a better scan and I think you guys are right about WM 33.

This would make it a Great Britain Scott J4 which is what is marked in pencil (ha).
