Unfortunately I don't read Hebrew, and I could not find the logo featured in the cachet anywhere. Thematically, it looks similar to masonic symbols, but I assume that's off the mark. Uploading the logo to Google's image search came up empty.
The logo belongs to the Technion, the Israeli Institute of Technology. I can't make out the date of the postmark, but the stamps look like the revised first definitive issued in 1950. Clive
