Looks to me like Post offices keep getting more commercialized everyday trying to get sources of revenue.
They may be getting paid by allowing stamps to be cancelled with buisness oriented cancellations.
Not much different than the MacDonalds, Petrocanada, Home Hardware, The Bay, and Toronto Dominion Bank amongst others, having stamps with their images, or logos printed on the selvedge of different issues printed by
Canada Post. No doubt some sort of revenue or profit was earned.
