I was wondering if these stamps are of interest to anyone. I think it's pretty cool that the cancels are dated and handwritten, but I'm still a newbie examining a large inherited collection. Would these be considered common?

Very common, but still very interesting aesthetically. Manuscript cancels for revenue stamps were the norm during this period. Larger companies would employ handstamps or would precancel stamps.

These $1 are actually R217, still common but slightly more interesting.
