Once the hammer drops at auction, however, if I am not the winner, I get 30 seconds to get over it, and that's it. I'm done with that item. Next. That is truly the way I process things now, and I'm not bothered one bit anymore by not winning a bid,

I wish I was like that on all items. There is one last week that I lost that is still on my mind and will not go away. It was the highest I have bid on a single item and was 1 1/2xs what the high bid was, placed 4 seconds out and had it for one second and lost at 3 sec out. I stopped bidding on anything for a week (very unusual), such was my disappointment. I should have bid higher and borrowed some money. Usually, items I loose do not bother me like this.
