I have run into a brick wall trying to sort out the Hungarian 1874-1900 issues as well as the 1900 Turul issues as far as watermark and perforation varieties are concerned.
Although Gibbons does simplify the perforation varieties by grouping them together, I am totally stumped by the watermarks.
As the watermark covers four or six stamps, it is often difficult to determine a specific issue unless the stamp being examined has a part of the watermark that can be clearly identified and attributed to a specific issue.
Any tips/help to tackle this would be greatly appreciated.

Check out my Hungary 1871-1916 post for bigblue1840-1940.blogspot.com.

http://bigblue1840-1940.blogspot.co...8711916.html

All of the watermarks are shown, as well as the difference between issues. Oriented for the WW collector, not the specialist.

Hope it helps!
