This is a Scott #319Fj not a #319fj which is not listed. Earliest reported use for a #319Fj on cover is June 30, 1908. |

Thank you May I ask were you found the information. So I could use the same location for future research on other projects. |

U.S. Scott Catalogue volume 1 or U.S. Scott Specialized Catalogue or Scott Classic Specialized Catalogue of Stamps & Covers.
The volume 1 is simplified. Not as comprehensive as the Specialized which gives more detailed info such as earliest date cover.

Found in a flea market a while back. Nothing special, I just like the use of this sheet for registered mail. |

Richar - Can you explain how you arrived at the catalog value in your ebay listing for the 319Fj cover? |

That is good. The Swedish Tiger has more than a few errors. Best to use real catalogs. |

Richar, or anyone else......what is the significance of the number 23750 found stamped on the cover? Just curious.........the only way to learn is by asking! |

Good question. Also ask about the RM in the lower left corner and the oval cancellations. |

So, I'm guessing "RM" is Registered Mail, and the number a registration number at place of registration? |
