Hi
I have three Elbe Juniorette Albums. I have been searching for refill pages for these albums but haven't been able to find them. I found these albums advertised in Meekel's in 1922 but no recent info on availability of refill pages. Does anyone know if these album refill pages are still being manufactured? If they are no longer available are substitute pages from a different manufacturer out there that will work in this type of album? The albums are too good looking to toss out for want of pages to fill them. Any suggestions appreciated.

Is this a two-peg album? In which case, what are the page measurements? You should be able to cut and punch your own pages if no current page fits. |

Dimensions? It's possible to have any page size made for you. Talk to a good print shop, and show them a sample page. They can make up brand new blank pages and hole punch them for you. |

From an ad in the 1953 Canadian Philatelist, the Juniorette was a springback album with 9 1/2" by 7" quadrille pages. It was a slightly cheaper album than the Elbe Daisy |

That's the one. When I purchased these albums the original pages had German stamps hinged to them with a brief synopsis under each stamp written by the prior owner. I moved the stamps into stock pages and couldn't reuse the original pages and had to toss them. Each page had a linen hinge from top to bottom of the page. This feature doesn't seem to be a common one today. I don't think any other type of page could function in this type of album. |

The link I gave you at Subway is for the linen hinged pages in your size. |

You don't need to use linen-hinged pages in springback album, but they are a means of allowing the pages to lie as close to flat as possible. Inserting narrow dividing strips towards the spine is designed to have a similar effect. |

I did follow the link and looked at the items. I couldn't find the size. I sent them an e-mail and asked if they had them in stock. Still awaiting their reply. Appreciate your assistance. |

I know that Subway has the Daisy and a couple of higher end Elbe albums in stock. |

Hi, Have just found your message. I was in a similar situation after buying a number of W H SMith2 ring albums. I use Byron album Leaf no, 277 which are available from Stanley Gibbons here. You could search for them in the US. |

I eventually received a response from Subway informing me refills were no longer available for the albums. I threw the albums away. Thank you anyway for your offer. |
