I recently picked up a group of proofs an essays. I think this could be a 63TC5g block, but it appears to be on a thin vellum type paper, not wove.The catalog mentions various patent papers for these. Could this be one? Thanks!

They look like MacDonough trial color plate proofs.

Exactly that. These are actually essays, not trial colors. The ink is very fugitive in water so store carefully.
