Not my stamps but this was posted in another forum and the poster was seeking information. So far, they remain a mystery and they are intriguing. Does anyone have any insight into these cancels?

Is the red ink on top of the cancel ? Never seen that before . That red ink looks too bright and bold color as if done recently .

They appear to be Company markings.The lines and colors correspond to a particular company?

Interesting, not seen before.
Looks like "re-use prevention" tying stamps to the cover.

Magenta probably wasn't a good idea to use as they could be mistaken for attempted reuse of used revenues/fiscals.

Nice to find a group studying these. Most collectors downgrade such stamps tremendously. Covers are a different story.

Similar manuscript marks are also found on stamps of British India.
