It appears to be rebacked, has a damaged upper left corner and the mentioned tear. Condition makes all the difference and this would probly be a filler. Do need to see the back as mentioned.
I have both the brown-yellow and the buff, and the stamp pictured here appears more like the latter. With all due respect, in your stamp's current condition I would estimate its value at around $50-$100.
