A country with stunningly beautiful atolls, and so few stamps in the classic period that completion is possible relatively easily, provided you are watchful for forged overprints on the 1903 series.
Take a closer look at the 1933 set (SG 11-20, Scott - 11-19). It comes watermarked upright and sideways. The watermark reads "Harrison & London" so you will just a portion of it on the stamp. It makes for an interesting study if you are looking for one.
Does anyone have the Steiner pages for Maldives that cover up to and including KGVI that they could email me? WHen I had my subscription, I downloaded all of the pages that covered British Empire, Colonies and Territories but somehow missed the pages for Maldives. Any help is much appreciated.
