Good morning all, just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Erick and Im a retired Marine living in beautiful southern Cali. Currently working for GA-ASI and getting into stamps. I came across a shoebox of stamps at a garage sale 28 years ago. At the time I had no interest in stamps. Lo and behold yesterday I found this shoebox and found some beautiful stamps and I was instantly hooked. I look forward to chatting with some of you and expanding my knowledge.

Welcome aboard Gunny. Good to have you. I'm retired Navy.
Similar story, 57 years ago I found a box of stamps in a church parking lot. And here I am today loving the hobby.
This is a great place to ask and learn.

I see you're ready with the caliper! Suggestion, when you share photos/scans of stamps to share with Forum members take them straight-on and only a few at a time. That way help can be very specific about each! |

Welcome Gunny. There is a very active Orange County CA club that meets monthly in Villa Park and a Senior Club that meets weekly on Wednesdays in Orange.
If you want more info I can send you the details. Just reply to this thread and I will direct message you. Both focus on buying and selling.
