A quick search of Wikipedia indicates that Asociacion de Amigos de la Union Sovietica was a group founded by Spanish communists in 1933.

I have seen these labels in various designs and colors offered on ebay for $4-$10US each. As with all cinderellas, you will see prices and condition in a very wide range.

These were issued in 1937. There are 50 different designs to a sheet (including Pushkin, the Red Army, collective farms, and my personal favorite, the manufacturing of linoleum) and were produced in 6 colors (sepia, dark green, violet, blue, vermillion, and reddish brown). The result is that there are 300 varieties in total plus a number of other similar issues there were produced by this group. I will usually pick them up for $3-$6 if I don't already have an example.

This is a sample the Catalan version of the "Homage to USSR" issue. On the first cinderella you can see "the Pole wintering boys". In fact both issues (the Catalan and the Spanish ones) were printed in Barcelona (Catalonia) by the "Association of USSR friends" (Amics de la Unió Sovičtica, in Catalan, "AUS")

To Alex: The average quality of the poster stamps/cinderellas issued by the Democratic (aka "Republican") side of the 1936/39 war, is (in general) very good, as most artists backed Democracy and (in Catalonia) National Recovery. You can see some pre-1939 Catalan cinderellas on our special thread. I'm showing some more 1936/39 pro-soviet poster cinderellas:

Prices and availability are a question of luck. In Internet, normally the price is high, as there are some people that have both the knowledge and "deeep pockets". Sometimes i've bought civil war cinderellas at open air stamp markets for just 0.5 € (when the seller doesn't know them)... The price variation is very huge
