German Railway Stamps Baden Expressgut Questions.

Hello everyone,

I have these stamps from The Baden railway expressgut.

They are in centimes so I understand for use towards Switzerland, this also explains the Basel postmark.

My questions:

A) Does anyone know the catalogue value(if there is one), for these used examples.

B) is there any information known about the vertical stripes on the 10 centimes stamps and the horizontal stripes(faint) on the 5 centimes.

I will investigate further and share (if found) knowledge.

I did see the Briefmarken Sieger offering before, but I saw that they advertised it as being from 1903. Looking at 2 of my stamps shows dates from 1900 and 1901. So that cannot be right.(to be continued)

In the 2nd link it mentions"Baden State Railway to at least 1920 - Express stamp, 1894"

perf12, I read the second link, but it did not tell if 1894 was the date of issue for both series. The Pages provided by postmasterGS confirm that both series were issued in 1894.

I assume that the 2 high values shown in the Sieger link are issued in 1903. that is were part of my confusion started.
