Help 1855 10c Scott 31/32/33/34/35 Identification

this is for sale and obviously mis-identified as a scott 13.

but I have trouble identifying the correct scotts number, would really appreciate any help.

Type II, Scott #32.

The stamp is quite defective, so should be priced low.

the others are nothing special, so I will not continue bidding on the lot

Sinclair, can you explain what the defects of this stamp are? I'm a beginner trying to learn more about this sort of thing :)

It's a very nice stamp; just been through one-too-many postal wars!

Perfs are cut into the design at the top.

Mangled/short perfs all the way around the stamp.

Foxing/toning on perfs - all the way around.

Thin spot - see picture of back - top middle of stamp.

Some genius wrote '13' on the back in pencil.

And in general, a scruffy/dirty appearance...

But for classics - esp one of this caliber - we take what we can find/afford! Beautiful/clean copies of this stamp would be a significant investment....

mdroth is being generous. There is a heavy vertical soiled/scuffed area on the right side from either being affixed over the edge of the envelope or because of the contents of the envelope creating a hard edge which the stamp was forced against. There is a tear in the right margin near the top. There is a piece missing from the stamp at top and possibly another tear combined with a thinned area adjacent to the missing chunk. Better examples are easy to find and if we could have seen the rest of the group we might see that not only could we find a better stamp but at a lower price! Heck, I can sell a better one for far less than 60 euros!
