Just rediscovered another old box from many years ago when I did a lot of buying and setting away. I think these were purchased in the 60s. These are the first few envelopes pulled out of the box. At least 150 envelopes and everything looked at so far are mint stamps. As an example I just posted for sale on SCF a 40 stamp block of Germany 510_1. This is going to be fun!!

Sheesh!! I will never, ever, ever worry again about not sorting things out for a few months or so after buying somethings. Thing is, do you actually remember buying them?

Yeah Tim - I think it was in a little hick town something like, maybe Woodstock or something like that. It really is kinda hazy.
Actually do not remember where or exactly when. Just in with a bunch of stuff from around that time frame. Nothing found yet that is totally remarkable or overwhelmingly valuable, just a lot of nice mint stamps. Filling a lot of spaces in my collection with mint stamps that were used.

Wheelman, that last line begs me to ask the question, are they mint or used? Or was it filling spaces with mint and used?

Mike

Ha ha! I think a lot of people around Woodstock at the time have kinda hazy recollections of the 60s
