What I see are two registered small packets from Czecheslovakia Republic to Harry in Califiornia U.S.A containing dolls. One was 270g and charged 41kcs. The other was 457g charged 59kcs and 60cs. And there are aparently two stamps missing (probably 2x 3kcs each) on the heavier package making the total 65kcs and 60cs. Apparently they were received by USPS register on April 22 in 1977. Looks like heavy brown kraft style wrapping paper.
Both are stamped "Petit paquet" and "Recommandé", "small packet" (rate) and "registered" respectively. These markings are in French which you will find is the common language to be used by UPU members on international mail. Same for the green customs labels marked "Douane" (customs). The cancels aren't that well struck but we know they came from Lysá nad Labem from the preprinted and prenumbered registry labels.
The term 'cover' applies to an envelope so it would not pertain to either of these. Instead I think that the best term for these would be 'stamps on piece' or perhaps 'stamps on wrapper'. I would keep them on these pieces of paper and not soak them off.
