Are there definitive ways to distinguish between the engraved and lithographed stamps of similar colors (SC 343-345 vs 378-380, 312 vs 383, and 347 vs 384)?

I know the lithographed issue is comb perforated. But as far as looking at the stamps under magnification, it seems to me that the unique 8D and 17D denominations show no lines around the numbers. I was wondering if this was true for all the lithographed stamps.

Or are there other distinguishing characteristics that make identification simple?

.
The ink on an intaglio (recessed, engraved, etc) plate is sub-surface, and tends to result in ridges of ink on the stamp.

Hint: run a gentle fingernail, lightly, across a known-to-be-only-engraved stamp. Or use a loupe, from the side.

The ink on a lithography plate rests on the flat surface of the plate, and tends to soak more evenly into the stamp.
