Some of these recent issue Australia stamps that drive me.....!

Worst self adhesive interpost stamp to get off paper. Hands down winner 2008 Waterfalls $1.40 Russell Falls. No stamp comes near this one.

The high denomination since 2000 that attacks the hardest to sell. Hands down winner 2003 $1.45 Nature of Australia-Rainforest Blue Orchid. Also a huge standout.

Hardest era of decimal to get off paper 55c issues. Totally 55c are all about paper thins that are so good and complete they would pass as a thin paper issue. Decision still pending on the new $1 issues but I think the 55c era will still beat the $1 issues security die cuts but not by a lot.

Anyone have trouble with a decimal stamp when it comes to working with them.

Water soaking - well I have some stamps that were made thin maybe that is what you have, not all countries at all times can make stamps like we can. But Aussies? They make really great stamps. I am not sure what you mean. Good luck.

Taking Australia stamps off paper in bulk numbers by a stamp seller is getting to be a very rare thing to do. Who truly knows about trying to get these new $1 stamp issues that have the security die cuts off paper using water only? We certainly do!How many sellers have a charity supplier of very recent Aus issues on paper?

Hi fairdinkumstamps

Sorry that I have been unclear!

The high denomination stamp of 2003 $1.45 Blue Orchid gets the title from me as the hardest to sell stamp than any other high denomination stamp issued by Auspost since the year 2000 to now.

At my house we live & die (so to speak) by getting Australia stamps off paper. We have been doing this full on since I 1st started as a member on SCF. Used stamps purchased us 2 lap top in our 1st 6 months of selling. We have a very limited income. Stamp selling has been very good to us here.

Sadly not very many people are doing this any more. So it gets very difficult to share about what we do. Who really knows about this that we do?

The 55c Australia issues seem to have the gum soak into the paper. So when taking them off paper so does a layer of paper from the stamp itself. Making the most bazaar paper thin. It looks to be a thin paper print.

Hello KGVCollector
I really like your informative "A history of KGV stamps" when I clicked on your handle- or post name, I found it. You know you ought to write a book on it, you write very well and I enjoy and learn from it, Thank you. I am still trying to get Australian stamps but they are high postage from Australia, so I tend to get mine from USA sellers- HAHA Middlemen! I like buying from Australians when it seems a deal. They tend to send with neat postage to. What was that saying and who said it about GB?
During their Colonial heyday- The Sun won't set on Briton? Or never does. Good reading you are! Keep it up please.
