These are German "Reaching for Peace" stamps, issued in values from 2pf to 5m, these are the 4 high face value denominations. They are Scott German #574-577.
They have a value as follows:
(Values are for singles, blocks, multiply by 4)
574 - 40c
575 - $1.20
576 - $20
577 - $80

The 3mark and 5mark blocks have some value. These might garner an additional 10%-15% of CV. So 576 block of 4 $85 - $100 577 block of 4 $360 - $375.

As for cert,
Depends on your objective. Do you have reason to believe them to be unsound or altered? Are you planning to sell them, or do you want all of your collection to have certs?
In this group, it's too bad that the 2 mark don't have the selvage as well. The 1 mark and 3 mark have plate numbers, so they qualify as used plate blocks, that will get them a bit of a bump in value as well.

ClassicPhilatelist, I think the part being questioned is the "27 Leipzig 22" overprint, not the base stamp....

One of the characteristics of the 27 Leipzig is the double dot's over the "i's".They often
touch though.Forgeries have just 1 dot over each "i "or it's just a diagonal line.

They have to be send to Germany ,I never see any collection or research material in English . These are post war Soviet Zone overprints ,I am not sure if each city had their own overprint or each post office had their own overprint . There are big difference between those overprints city to city in my collection .Some are stamped heavy and others like these are so faint and too blurred to read . It looks like some towns did a better job with their overprints .

The page from Michel's above is the wrong page ,it is the next page that lists this series. It looks like I am going to buy them because I have more confindence in the cancel than I do for the overprints and under a glass it is clear the cancel is on top of the overprint . I guess I am going to spend time on the four clear cancels . Thanks for all the postings but I got my work still to do .

These are very heavily forged. Also, one would expect to see the mark values on packet card, or packet card clippings, rather than as favor, or c.t.o. pieces. This makes them particularly suspect.

Clearly posted requesting a expert to give me a comment . There was nothing to be clear about . When you got a set of blocks of four with a clear center strike on each block it is assumed that it was a favor cancel done by the post office or the forger wanting a impressive display .
