As Australia Mailing Stamps Come To An End

In so many ways the end of Australia mailing stamps can be seen coming very close to their usable end.

It is common now to go into Auspost PO & ask for some mailing stamps & they look at you as if you have 4 heads! "Just want some high denominations stamps for mailing please" and the PO worker just does not know what to do. Very Sad!

We had WWIII at our local PO because we use stamps. No one else uses stamps for parcels but us. They did everything to get us to use labels.

Now they do not even count the stamps at mailing time. Seems like they figured we were never going to change.

The problem went to the powers that be in Auspost and the local PO got a rap over the knuckles. And only one of the workers in that PO is aloud to serve us as they are not hostile.

The real issue is that the other PO workers do not know how to put a stamped item through the Auspost computer.

They do not stock mailing stamps!
