I'll just tell you from jump I know nothing about stamps. I have been watching videos on the net and searching sites. It's obvious to me this is a very in depth endeavor to be a collector, my hat off to you all.

Thank you for looking and commenting

Hi, The bottom stamps are Russia RSFSR stamps. The first from 1921 &
the surcharged stamp from 1922.It has the black blue overprint.

Must see if it's not a forgery.....

________________________________________________________________________________________
Your stamp has the black diagonal surcharge & not the Blue-Black surcharge.
Type 1 Typographed measures 24-24.5mm
Type 2 Lithographed measures 23-23.5mm
These stamps exist in Grey-violet,Violet,Black violet.
Your stamp is a the violet color it seems.
You can measure the surcharge along the line indicated in the pic below on your stamp.

Gramps, it doesn't have to be.
Just get a second hand "world" Catalogue, it can be up to 10 years old
buy cheap.
Learn your country's and their stamps by taking each stamp in turn , and searching for its catalogue number.

Treat it like fun, its not rocket science. A pastime that will take you smiling to the pine box.

Thank you both. And what do you mean perf12 ? Your saying I should have the stamp checked? Who do I go to for that and it's not a forgery?

I Always assume surcharges are forgeries;but I think yours is genuine.Check the width of
the surcharge too see which type it is.It is not an expensive stamp but veven so
forgeries exist of the stamp + surcharge or Surcharge alone. The horizontal surcharge
type is more dangerous in terms of forgeries. Also the Blue-Black colored surcharges.
