Hello.
I'm Martina from the U.K.
I joined the forum a week ago or so & was given some great advice on how to start stamp collecting.
Thankyou for all the advice, which I used.
I checked out the sites mentioned.I have joined a local library,& ordered books from abode
Im in the process of sorted mixed stamps in bags, & I have learnt so much as I had no knowledge of stamps & no knowledge of history, which is key as I have learnt through reading that alot of my stamps are very old.
Looking forward to sharing what I've learnt very soon.
Many thanks to those whos shared their advice with me !.

Martina

Thankyou.
I have 1000's of stamps to sort through & there's so much I have to learn.
The stamps are from :
U.S.A, Canada, New Zealand,Spain, Italy,
Poland, Nederlands, Ireland .U.k plus many more countries.
I also have some interesting stamps from Russia with the words kon on them, & Germany SAAR. I also have German stamps with the words Deutsche Reich.
Unfortunately my knowledge of the ww1 & 2 is poor so im now reading books to learn more about that too.
As Don has quoted
"Knowledge Is Power"..
It most certainly is Don !
