New To The Stamp Community Forum -

Good morning;

I have been member for some time, but this is my first post. I consider myself an amateur, and am looking for some broader advice and education on this forum. I collect Canadian stamps. My goal is to have a full collection of Canadian issues, with the exception of some high value issues. I am within a few hundred of a full collection. I am also interested in covers with local history; my first exposure to this forum was from a member who had a cover from my own backyard, so to speak.

I am looking for some feedback on a question I have; some years ago I operated a small town postal outlet, and when I sold that business, I had some special issues inventory that I decided to keep. I would now like to sell much of my duplicate inventory. It is all mint, most of it booklets, and also some sheets, which were mostly issued between 1995-2005. What is the best way to sell these? I expect one needs to have a level of legitimacy with the stamp community and to establish himself as a trustworthy person with which to conduct business. I am looking for some help in order to achieve this. Thanks for your help!

On this forum, members must have 50+ posts before they can sell/buy/trade. ebay, on the other hand, allows anyone to buy/sell/trade without any vetting. But new ebay accounts often get overlooked by some buyers due to mistrust of new accounts.
