I hope this is the right forum.... Referring to for instance, Scott 155-171 I've been working on. I now know its called Five Year Plan bc someone mentioned it in a post. But I dont see the name listed in the catalogue. Also, for instance, Scott 1430-1433 - does this series have a name? If so, where do I look?

Thank much.

If that is the Wildlife Conservation issue, well, that is the name.

Perhaps the name was coined by philatelists but not in all catalogues.

just making sure im not missing something in the catalogue - Scott. dont know the answer to that one. For instance on Scott 1170-1192 is referred to Industry and Technology online that I've seen. But I dont see any reference names in the catalogue. Same on Five Year Plan - I dont remember seeing the name in the catalogue but have seen it online. Maybe Scott does not use series names.

5 Year Plan sounds a bit like the DDR issue.

GDR SC 155-171 seems to be Five Year Plan. No series name in Scott.

GDR Sc 1430-1433 is an incomplete set of Sc1430-1443a. No series name in Scott.

GDR Sc 1170-1192 listing makes no sense.

My apologies. I didn't say what country because I did not know Scott used the same numbers for different countries.

All I'm trying to figure out is if series names were somewhere in the Scott catalogue or given by philatelists on their own. Tks.
