I spent $10 for 4 ziplock bags of random foreign stamps. Not bad!

That's how I did it when starting out in the 1960s; packets of lots of stamps for not much money. I like the inclusion of pairs and other multiples. The used block of 9 4-penny stamps of Queen Elizabeth is probably rather uncommon.

I think pairs & multiples will enhance a collection and also serve to "break up" any monotony of page after page of rows of individual stamps.

That certainly brings back memories of my own, at age 9, going to the dime store and picking up worldwide mixtures. That was a thrill.

I definitely agree that having multiples here is very cool.
