1c Franklin Plating Stumper

For the 1c Franklin plating pros. This one has me stumped. I just can't find plating marks here to narrow my search. It is a Type V (really don't believe it is a Va). (The full size image has been enhanced to shown better detail).

Definitely not a Va. Some Type V's, especially worn impressions, simply cannot be plated, but I think you have 51R9 (horizontal dash in UR C-shaped ornament).

Thanks for your input Dudley. 51R9 has definitely got some strong similarities to mine. The horizontal dash in the ornament is a good marker. Looking at the example shown for 51R9 in the Franklin Archive I'm a bit bothered by the lack of completeness in ornaments P, Q & R on the right on their copy compared to mine as well as where the bottom line ends on the right side.

I'll keep looking and use that dash as a key in my next pass of the Type V realm.

Part of the right side ornaments and the bottom line, have been "enhanced, or drawn-in", shall we say, in order to make this stamp appear as being a Va, but it is a Ty V.

No doubt that causes confusion in trying to match ornament completeness.
