If you could only pick 3 stamps, any stamps from anywhere, what would they be?

I only collect US & Possessions - so my choices would be: 1 and 2: two of the early Z grills (85A and 85F); and 3: Hawaii # 1. |

Matt: welcome to the Forum.
Not sure I really understand the intent of the question. The thread title makes more sense than the o/p comment to limit one's self to just three stamps. If I had the budget, my "bucket list" would include Portuguese Congo #118; Zambezia #72; and lots of early Portuguese India Native issues and early surcharges that I don't have. Of course, all would require certs.
I'd also include lots of classic, early, Mexico, with the less common District overprints. Agains, certs are mandated. |

I only have 1.
A US #164 - another, not the one that is already known. Even more spectacular if it was on cover, with descent centering. :) |

If my budget was unlimited, the three that I would choose are: 1) US Scott #C3a Inverted Jenny 2) US Scott #296a Pan-American Automobile Invert 3) 2 cent Hawaiian Missionary |

Open Robert Cunliffe US invert collection. Close eyes. Point at 3 stamps at random. Should be sufficient.

To complete my US Airmail section I would look for C13-C15, F-VF MNH, or VF ULH, lite cancel. (I may be able to get them at the Boxborough Show in May. |

This is my 3rd collection I have built in my life, 20 years working on this one and I just take what comes my way, no bucket list, no desires for anything in particular. Focused on my range of collecting interests from a perspective of having fun and collecting from common mish mash. |

I collect US, British and Germany. My picks would be: the $2.00 Trans Mississippi issue- the one stamp I still need from that set. Then, the One Pound PUC 1929 issue of Great Britain, I am almost complete in several German areas but I guess a Bavaria #1 would be nice. |

For me it would be three New South Wales numeral postmarks, but I'd have to pick 3 out of 5. Weatherboard 404, Vittoria 476, Megalong 1685, Burnt Yards 1854 &/or Edith 2010. Unfortunately for me they are all frightfully rare so I'm not holding my breath! |

I need about 7 stamps from the 19th century to get my Denmark collection to as near completion as I'll ever be able to make it. All but two are fairly affordable and reasonably available through dealers. The two I might never be able to find and/or afford are Scott 21 and 22, and even 22 catalogs for "only" $125 used and $150 unused, but I've never found one for sale. Oddly enough, all seven are on the same (Steiner) page, so the empty spaces scream at me every time I open the album to that page, but at least the rest of the pages aren't full of holes. |

Wow, I can't believe it, after posting my message about Denmark #21 and 22 I went on ebay and found a very nice unused copy of #22 for about 25% of Scott - and ought it. Now only 6 spaces to fill! |
