Ok I received these pre-cancel stamps from a friend. They came stuck together with other stamps and had to soak them off. That is why they are in the condition they are in. I only had a partial sheet (plate block corner). The question I had would these be considered legitimate precancels for this town? My friends dad used to work for the county which was across the street from the post office and may have had these special canceled when the stamp came out.
