Problem Printing Steiner Pages

When I print Steiner pages I get shadow lines under the letters.
ONLY on Steiner pages!

I do not get shadow lines when I print any other pages

Any help?

Hi Timm,
If it is an HP printer, you can try
Preferences > Display > Uncheck smooth images, uncheck enhance thin lines

If it is not an HP printer and you are using Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can try changing Disable Protected Mode
Edit>Preferences>Security(Enhanced)>then uncheck "Enable Protected Mode at startup"

Is this a laser or ink jet?
Is this just Steiner PDFs or any PDF?
Have you tried a different PDF reader?
Were they printing fine previously and now do not?
If so, has anything changed since they were printing ok?
If ink jet, have you tried changing the cartridges?
If laser, have you checked the usage stats for the components (i.e drum, transfer roller, etc.)?

I had the problem - turned out it was refillable cartridges. Used new ones and the trouble went away,

Went through cleaning cycle 3 times
Went through align cycle 10 times

Same results whether I print from disc or website.

Ditto on Peter's comment. Tried to be cheap and that's what I got.

My old HP F4480 doesn't appear to have that capability.

Mystery Solved.
Both new cartridges, black and color, installed were defective and would not align.
Replaced both new cartridges with 2 more newer cartridges and now the printer work fine.

What are the odds that both cartridges in a twin pack would be defective???
