I recently acquired a small lot of WWII german / Nazi stamps. I have in thia lot a full sheet of either scott #511b or 513. How do I tell the differnce without specialized tools.
There are also two things I have noticed with this sheet.
The plate number on this sheet is 5 numbers long, all other sheets I have seen online have 4 number plate numbers.
Second is that there is a single stamp I will call an earring variety however I have not found any info on varietis.
These are my first foreign a
Stamps so please be kind

The engraved stamp (513) will feel rougher, also the engraved stamp shows a background of a grid of fine white dots. Yours looks to be the typographed stamp. A scan would show this better than a photo.

Your sheet looks definitely typography print.
