I saw this stamp for sale on ebay today. Buyer beware! The postmark is a fake. No such circular date-stamp ever existed with "HONG-KONG" at the top and "POSTAGE" or "POST-AGE" at the bottom. This fake postmark was used to change a fiscally used revenue stamp to a postally used revenue stamp in order to increase its value. Hope this helps to educate those that do not know.

The stamp and overprint are most probably genuine.

The cancellation is also partly genuine I think. The 'POSTAGE' has been drawn over 'PAID-ALL'. See the note in SG at the top of the listing for Postal Fiscal Stamps.

Hope this helps

Slightly different typeface, too: Linus's stamp has a higher crossbar on 'A', leg of 'R' extends to the right more, 'S' is more closed up.
