Please Can Someone Tell Me If This Ebay Offer Is Good Or Bad???

I have been told on here that a couple of china red revenue stamps I have inherited may be worth something, having looked on ebay what appears to be similar to mine were selling for around £20 so I have listed them on a 7 day auction and I have already received an offer of £88! Basically what I'm asking is am I missing something on it that makes it worth more than £20??

I understand and was very happy with his valuation! But like I said when I looked on ebay others that appear to be the same were not going for more than £22 so it just makes me wonders why some that appear to look the same would sell for much more

If you can link the ebay examples, so we can have a look, then we may be able to offer further advice.
If I recall correctly, the same stamp as yours, surcharged $1, was offered on ebay some time ago for $3,500.

It's not a bid its an offer which I don't think get displayed on the advert!

I think your listing is fine, it should attract bidders and I imagine you will see something around the offer price or better.

I think you'd do better if you provided good scans of the front and back of the stamp, rather than distant photographs from a 'phone.

Thanks for replacing the image on the OP as well as on your auction. Again, the stamp already has small perf problems but a bidder would be more confident in knowing that there are no hidden problems if you photographed the back in addition.

Rather than looking at current ebay bids, you should consult the sold listings using the checkbox in the sidebar. It is still very early days for the auctions you mentioned above; any realistic bids are generally made at or near the last minute.

Thank you I didn't realise you could look at sold items so found that really helpful! I will leave it on the 7 day auction and see how I go. Really appreciate the replies!
