Hi guys

Take a close look at these 2 MINT Newfoundland Scott 134..Both Unitrade and N.S.S.C. catalouges identify this stamp as BROWN/VIOLET..But as you can see the stamp on the left is definitely VIOLET in colour.

Now all my other Scott 134's are BROWN/VIOLET in colour...Now this could..could be another missing colour variety..Thought I would post here to get opinions before I bother BNAPS.

Robert

Hi Trodent...
You are referring to the stamp called "Humber River Canyon" which is Dark violet, but Scott 139...But my stamp is called just "Humber River" which is a Scott 134 which is identified as BROWN VIOLET

The stamp you are referring to is Scott 131 in N.S.S.C. Catalouge...Which is a 10 cent stamp.

Unitrade shows Scott 134 as a BROWN VIOLET as shown below..

Now the 2002 N.S.S.C. catalogue shows the "Humber River" 4 cent stamp as N.S.S.C. 129 as shown below.

Robert

NOW, the new N.S.S.C. catalouge identifies this ""Humber River" stamp as N.S.S.C. 126 and is colour BROWN VIOLET". as shown below...

So, unless I am loosing my mind, I DO NOT see any reference to the Scott 134 having the colour VIOLET.
