Musk,
Is fine, just wondered what you were seeking by posting them. Just want to show what you got, or you need help with something?

Muks -

These stamps are called 'commemorative' stamps. They depict anniversaries, events, people, places, etc.

The 'square' ones you previously posted are generally referred to as 'regular issue' stamps and are part of a denomination series; for example as series of presidential portrait stamps in increments from 1 cent increments up to $1.00

I mainly wanted to show what I have. Being new to it I find the variety interesting and the details about the stamps are fascinating. If I have any questions I'll be sure to ask. Thank you.

I think that you need to use this forum like you would "silver bullets". While I think the main commentators are a wealth of knowledge and love to share, they also know that the true hobbyist needs to do their own research and, you know, try a little bit!!??? Its what also makes it fun!! Tell a man what his stamp is, he's good with that stamp. Teach a man to do a little stamp research, hobby for life!! You get out of it what you put into it. The question you should ask is "I have a bunch of stamps. Where can I go to learn about them?" Use your silver bullets wisely lest you become a wolf crier and no one answers your call!! I love reading the comments here and come almost once a week. I've learned so much and its helped me with my collection ( inherited from my father). Asking "what is this stamp?" kind of makes it too easy. Ask "I think this is a Scott #XXX because of........" Do you think I'm missing something?" Then you'll learn!! I appreciate the wise men that daily answer questions that people have on stamps and I think they love to help!! Just an observation!!!! Do what you want!!
