I recently purchased these two from an APS sales circuit.

I've identified them as Scott 26 (type I) and Scott 43, respectively.
From this thread (
https://goscf.com/t/65798) I learned that the barred B postmarks represent the Mumbai postal circle.
However, I'm intrigued by the violet tramway cancel on the right stamp. The black postmark seems to have been applied on top of the purple cancel. So, I surmise that the letter was deposited at a tramway station where it received the purple cancel, then later received the barred B postmark at the main post office. Am I close, or out in left field? Any insights will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Robert
