I've see a few posts on "what is this stamp?" and most often people say go to stampsmarter. I like that and I also like the swedish tiger site. Is one better than the other? I've found the layout of ST easier because I can quickly scan the stamp pictures for the one I'm looking at. That being said, the info ST gives sometimes leaves me wanting more so I then google the stamp to try and find better info. Any thoughts?

Of course I am biased in favor of Stamp Smarter, but I have to say that theswedishtiger does contain some surprising errors. For example, as one of the criteria for identifying Scott #9 we are told on the same page that the top and bottom outer frame lines are broken (false), and that they are both always complete (for all practical purposes true). http://www.theswedishtiger.com/9-scotts.html

I don't think it's possible to find a better site for US info:

I second stampsmarter, but I would also add that this site is a great place to get knowledgable opinions, especially when you're not even sure what it is you should be looking up!
