The so-called "ribbed paper" does NOT exist!

It is all a matter of the normal twill-binding of the sieve structure having horizontal threads (weft) being relatively thicker than the vertical threads (warp)!

Very interesting. Much more prominent than ribbed versions in the US Continental issues. This looks more like laid paper types than ribbed.
