The King George V Leaf series can be expected to have a single engraving for the common parts of the design!

The value tablet not being one of them is obvious, but all "cents" may be the same though different from the "cent"...

What do we see in the Unitrade catalogue?

As to the 2c there is reference to the plates!

In both cases the length of the curved line in the ball seems relevant. Why? aren't there other aspects much more relevant.

The size of the dot inaside rthe "P" may be relevant!

The bottom-line of the "E" seems to have the same position!

At the left:

4 lines above the "P" and below 8 lines between "S" and the value tablet!

Will we find similar positions in other values?

Both "dies" of the 1c have the vertical lines in the medaillon! And so has he 5c.

But what about he 3c

"Lines between" 4 and 7 both left and right, where the 1c had 4 and 8 at the left; 3 1/2 and 8 at the right!

Why should the texts "Postes"and "Postage" be diffrent for most values????

What is the sense of having the engraver re-do his job???

And this is what we see NOT ONLY in the "Leafs"!?
