Hello Again Back on the German Stamps again and I think I got them somewhat in order and all of them I think I thought I had another page but perhaps I sold them IDK ???
Well do any of these look better in a sellable way or just list them as a group or by District or Type some are in poor shape and probably worthless unless they are really good which I doubt. Why else would they be here.
Their's no ND on the back of any of them and there are 2 postmarks that look like 29 bu a closer look it's 291
They are a bit confusing tho and just hem all mise as well sell t hem all kind of a hassle now trying to get them sorted
Two of the cancels look interesting. The 18 kreuzer North German Confederation stamp has an old Thurn and Taxis NIDDA postmark with the two characteristic small circles on the sides. It carries a small premium in the Peter Feuser catalog.
The 1/2 groschen "large shield" stamp has a STADTPOST DRESDEN cancel, meaning it was local mail for the city. Only Dresden and Leipzig had such cancels on the classic German stamps. Don't know of any premium for this, it is just interesting.
Hi would this Rose be considered a 4 margin stamp well the set ls I think the Roulet cut one scott 27-32 but the 2 grosch looks good but is it scott 31 theirs 3 different 2's also the 14 postmark is used twice
I don't know which 1 groschen stamp you are asking about.
You have an Austrian newspaper stamp in your 3rd scan from the bottom, second row. The one with the WIEN cancel.
Also, there are a few cut squares (items cut out from postal stationery, not stamps). The NGC item with the Naumberg I. S. cancel, and the three Luebeck items are cut from postal envelopes.
